The research portal will contain information on mental health research, including publications of Filipino mental health researchers, mental health research funding metadata, and primary research data from publicly-funded projects on mental health. Thus, the portal will house informatics infrastructure to capture clinical research data such as REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) to be made available to mental health researchers to collect and store data over the long term in analysis-ready format. Privately-funded mental health research data may also be contributed, such as those generated from employment-psychological testing and evaluations, however, it would be entirely up to private enterprises to make their data available for further research and analyses.
The research portal data structure will be aligned with the research medata format defined by the DOST-Health Research and Development Information Network (HERDIN). All data and metadata on mental health research will be and made-searchable on the portal, but only obtained through data agreements made with the NCMH.
